     THE CRUZEROS self-titled debut album released in 1996 resulted in 5 charting singles, 4 videos on CMT, 2 Top Ten CanCountry hits and dozens of award citations including a JUNO nomination for Country Group Of The Year.

     Their second album, 'El Niño', has won the Canadian Independent Music Award for Best Country Album for 2002. It was listed by Country Music News as one of the Top 12 albums produced in the year 2000. Other recent nominations include Canadian Country Music Association “Independent Group or Duo of the Year”, "Album Graphics of the Year" and "Special Instrumentalist of the Year" and B.C. Country Music Association “Album of the Year”. Three of the songs from the album will be featured on the soundtrack for a major motion picture called “The Barber” starring Malcolm McDowell.
